Players from both the men’s and women’s teams will stay on a luxury cruise ship in lieu of the Olympic Village.

The Silver Cloud — the cruise on which the teams will stay — is a 296-guest ship weighing in at a hefty 16,000 tons. It includes marble-walled showers, a workout facility and full bar. The accommodations are pretty swanky. Take a look, courtesy of USA Today Sports.
Neither team has stayed at the Olympic Village since the 1988 Summer Games.

The USA will be expected to bring home the gold this season, though Silver Cloud still looks a whole lot better than what the Australians got at the Olympic Village.
No word if there is a karaoke machine for more Vanessa Carlton sing-a-longs, though.
